For one of the world’s largest manufacturers of microprocessors and integrated circuits, the ALTEN Polska team delivered a complex project aimed at supporting the development of AI tools for optimizing deep learning models and deploying them on the client’s dedicated hardware. The project scope encompassed web application development, test automation, CI/CD infrastructure management, and technical documentation creation within a high-security environment.

Complexity of challenges and their impact on end users
The main challenge involved maintaining high test and validation performance despite the increasing complexity of AI models and the need to scale tools across diverse hardware platforms. Additionally, the project was delivered in an offsite model, fully aligned with the client’s security policies, requiring strict adherence to procedures and seamless integration with the existing organizational culture. End users—AI engineers and R\&D teams—gained access to an optimized, consistent, and intuitive work environment that accelerates and automates critical stages of the product lifecycle.
Technologies and solutions implemented
The project engaged 28 specialists from ALTEN Polska over a period of more than 30 months, tasked with developing and maintaining a comprehensive solution. Technologies used included: Python, C++, Groovy, Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, FastAPI, Angular, Django, as well as documentation and monitoring tools such as Sphinx, Doxygen, Grafana, InfluxDB, and Zabbix. A central deliverable was the development of a validation portal, enhancement of test automation, and deployment of a robust CI/CD infrastructure enabling process scalability and rapid responsiveness to R\&D team needs.
Results of AI tool deployment and test automation
The outcome was a substantial increase in automated test efficiency and improved validation processes for AI-powered products. The solution enabled process scalability, seamless integration with the client’s existing toolchain, and adherence to the highest security standards. DevOps processes were refined, and the CI/CD infrastructure was optimized for speed and reliability. Enhanced monitoring and access to clear, comprehensive documentation contributed directly to faster engineering decision-making and a shortened product development lifecycle.
