Ensuring high-quality software is a key factor in the success of modern banking systems. ALTEN Polska was tasked with designing and implementing a comprehensive test automation process to meet the client’s needs and improve testing efficiency.
Our expertise covered the testing of mobile and web applications used by both individual customers and bank employees. The project aimed to guarantee system reliability and smooth operation in daily use.
ALTEN Polska’s Task
The ALTEN Polska team was responsible for developing a test automation framework, implementing automated tests, and fully integrating them with existing CI environments. The client prioritized enhancing test quality, maximizing automation, and tailoring solutions to stringent banking security requirements.
Project Execution
As part of the project, ALTEN Polska delivered:
- the design of a test automation framework;
- custom reporting for mobile and web application test results;
- integration of test automation with the existing CI environment;
- execution of hundreds of automated tests daily, enabling rapid bug detection and resolution;
- development and automation of 1,487 test scenarios based on BDD methodology.
All actions were performed in compliance with the client’s strict security policies and the highest ISTQB standards.
Final Outcome
The client received a comprehensive solution for test automation, significantly improving testing processes and application quality. With full documentation and knowledge transfer, the client can continue to enhance their systems. Our work resulted in a 50% increase in test efficiency and a substantial reduction in time-to-market for new features.
