Job Description

ALTEN innovates aero and cosmonautics, trains, electric and autonomous vehicles, and even space rockets. We are currently looking for Integration Engineer who will join our team.


Main tasks

  • Defines, setup, enhance and maintains Continuous Integration and development infrastructure for entire Autonomous driving SW solutions according to modern Agile SW development methodologies 
  • Design, establish and maintain new build tools infrastructure and include them in the toolchain
  • Develop integration test spec and test application based on software architectural design
  • Supports issue analysis, do first level debugging, tracking and drive issue resolution
  • Interfacing for development, quality assurance and technology operations 
  • Automate and improve different kinds of software and system tests 
  • Automate KPI driven metrics of test, process, productivity and code quality 
  • Offer support, training and guidance for the development team 
  • Prepare the test vehicle in co-operation with system engineering team 
  • Update software’s in test vehicle and carry out different kind of tests 
  • Ability to travel to support customer meetings in Germany/Europe and occasional test drives 
  • Develop engineering solutions within assigned project(s) scope and timing

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or similar 
  • Profound Knowledge of the software development life cycle 
  • Work experience as integrator or part of Integration team 
  • Good programming knowledge in C++ 
  • Experience in scripting and automation for Continuous Integration 
  • Knowledge of Scripting languages like Shell, Python, Groovy, Ansible Playbooks, etc. 
  • Knowledge of GIT, Polarion or similar tools for Version Control and Requirements Management 
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Zuul, Coverity, Polyspace or similar tools for Static Code Analysis 
  • Soft skills: innovative, flexible, logical thinking, goal-oriented and team player 
  • Knowledge and experience with agile development frameworks: Scrum, Auto-Scrum, Kanban or XP
  • Enjoying new challenges and innovative technologies
  • Very good English and German language skills
