Requirements

Now we are looking for a Devops Engineer for our client, the world's largest company dedicated to industrial automation and information, makes its customers more productive and the world more sustainable.


Main tasks

  • Local site support for ClearCase, Artifactory, and TeamCity. 
  • Scripting support in python and other scripting languages to support the build environment. 
  • As needed, write unit test scripts in python to support development team test needs.

  • Works effectively both independently and in a team environment to deliver solutions in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. 
  • A minimum of 2 years of dev ops experience. 
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with Python 
  • Experience in setting up and managing software development server hardware and software, specifically on Microsoft Windows and Linux. 
  • This position will be working in a complex, multi-national multi-site embedded software and software organization so this individual must speak, read and write English fluently. 
  • Some after-hours support are required. 
  • This is a support position so a service-oriented attitude is required

Optional skills

  • C/C++ experience in the development of real-time products. Even if this role does not require product development or test responsibilities this person will be supporting team members that do both of these and understanding the nature of the work will help this person provide good support. 
  • Experience implementing test frameworks in python or other scripting language. 
  • Experience with formal, automated unit and integration testing of software / firmware. 
  • Experience automating IT infrastructure / operating system using configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef. 
  • Experience with ClearCase, TeamCity and Artifactory, but experience with other SCM systems (i.e. Git, SVN, Mercurial), continuous integration build managers (i.e. Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo), and artifact repositories (i.e. Nexus, Archiva) would be just as relevant. 
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with APIs and modular software design. 
  • Depending upon business needs, this candidate may have opportunity to participate in a Scrum team as a unit test engineer. For this part of the role, C/C++ experience in a real time environment would be a plus.

Main tasks

Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for analysis, design, development, and testing of firm's enterprise reporting applications in support of the business needs of our divisions and clients. 
S/he will collaborate with our DBAs, business analysts, data modelers and administrators as necessary to define and develop applications on Cognos BI platform.

  • Lead assigned projects from Cognos perspective, create and maintain project documentation, ensure that projects are delivered in line with within agreed parameters (expected scope, deadlines, budgeted hours). 
    Interview end users and document any missing requirements for data.
  • Create and modify Cognos 10 objects in Report Studio, Query Studio and Workspace Advanced to meet client requirements and conform to departmental standards regarding documentation and structure that is reliable and easy to maintain.
  • Create and/or maintain Cognos 10 Framework Manager Metadata models to deliver robust and secure foundation for report development.
  • Create and/or modify Cognos 10 objects in Event Studio to support intelligent alerts to our users and clients.
  • Analyze and classify change requests, identifying and documenting scope of change and impact on other reporting objects.
  • Participate in walk-throughs which review report specs, reporting objects, all technical supporting documentation, including screens/reports: provide feedback in accordance with department standards and guidelines.
  • Support clients in using and developing their own reports in Query Studio and/or Workspace Advanced.
  • Develop training materials, and conduct classroom / remote trainings to promote self-service.
  • Develop unit test plans that will thoroughly exercise report logic to ensure Cognos application performance with regard to business requirements.
  • Execute unit test plans, document test results and resolve discrepancies as deemed appropriate. 

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  • Ideally 1+ years of experience working in BI application development
  • Exposure to full systems development life-cycle in the BI application development space
  • Experience in designing / developing solutions on Cognos platform is desirable
  • Ability to develop basic, formatted reports and dashboards including cascading prompts, drill-through capability, and more
  • Ability to read, understand and debug basic SQL
  • Highly developed adaptability
  • Strong problem solving skills and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Familiarity with database / data warehousing concepts: Oracle database and/or DB2 is an asset

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will carry out a project for our Client - one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, providing a comprehensive range of financial services to around 60 million customers. 


Main tasks

A successful candidate will be part of projects from the Commercial Banking (CMB) business in CMB Europe Team, supporting Germany Integration Team. Candidate will be responsible to develop accurate, efficient and easy to maintain integration applications.

  • Undertake system development using IBM WMB 8 and IIB 10 in accordance with analyst team specifications and system architecture
  • Undertake efficient systems development through the use of good design and implementation methodologies, achieving unit test scenarios
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive technical documentation (code review and code quality aspects) to support the completed application

Requirements

  • University graduate of Computer Science/IT-related field, preferably with major in Software engineering or relevant working experience in the field,
  • Knowledge of at least 2 of the following technologies:
    - Messaging Systems (e.g. Websphere MQ)
    - Websphere Message Broker or other Business Integration solutions (Mulesoft, IIB)
    - Java
